Family Violence Intervention Program | Print |
This Georgia State Certified Program is designed to rehabilitate family violence offenders and prioritizes victim safety and participant accountability. The women's group meets on Saturdays at 9:00 AM, and the men's group meets on Tuesdays at 9:30 AM, Wednesdays at 7:30 PM or Saturdays at 10:30 AM. Clients must pay a one-time State Fee of $20 and attend orientation ($10) prior to admission.
 
Substance Abuse Education | Print |
The Substance Abuse Education group is designed to teach the dangers of alcohol and illicit drugs such as cocaine, methamphetamines, ecstasy, opiates, benzodiazepines and marijuana. Class participants will learn about the effects of these drugs upon the body and mind as they pertain to relationships, occupational, and safety issues. A component of the program focuses on driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The program meets once per week on Saturdays at 9:00 AM.
 
Early Recovery | Print |

This program provides group members information about alcohol and drug use and the symptoms of addiction. Clients are required to attend four 12-Step meetings (AA/NA) in addition to group time.

The group meets once per week on Mondays at 5:30PM, Wednesdays at 7:00PM, and Tuesdays or Saturdays at 9:00AM.

 
Relapse Prevention | Print |
The Relapse Prevention Group is designed to revisit and reinforce knowledge and behavior that was acquired previously within a traditional substance abuse program. Group work focuses on the addiction cycle, warning signs, managing cravings, stress management, and the promotion of beneficial relationships. This program meets once per week on Mondays at 7:00 PM, Tuesdays at 10:30 AM, Wednesdays at 5:30 PM, or Saturdays at 10:30 AM. Clients are required to attend four 12-Step meetings (AA/NA) during each 16-week segment in addition to group time.
 
Substance Addiction Treatment Program | Print |
This program is an ASAM Level One intensive outpatient treatment program. Clients must attend a minimum of two sessions per week and may choose to attend on the following days: Mondays at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM, Tuesdays at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, Wednesdays at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM, or Saturdays at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Tuberculosis testing is required prior to admission, and can be obtained at our facility. Clients are required to attend one 12-Step meeting (AA/NA) per week in addition to group time.
 
Multiple DUI Offender Treatment Program | Print |
This is a Georgia State Certified Program and meets Mondays at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM, Tuesdays at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, Wednesdays at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM, or Saturdays at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Clients must have completed a Risk Reduction Program and State Clinical Evaluation prior to admission. Clients must attend two sessions per week. Tuberculosis testing is required prior to admission. Clients are required to attend two 12-Step meetings (AA/NA) per week in addition to group time.
 
Anger Management | Print |

Our program is designed to help people control their anger and resulting violent behavior by using a cognitive-behavioral model for change. Participants in the Anger Management Group learn to identify personal triggers which lead to inappropriate social behavior and practice ways of controlling emotions before violence occurs. Other topics of focus include social skills and assertiveness training, communication improvement, listening skills, stress management, and consequences of anger.

The program meets on Mondays at 7:00 PM. Individual appointments available for additional fee.

 
Moral Character Development | Print |

The Moral Character Development program helps clients understand how weaknesses or excessive character traits influence behavior which can undermine moral judgement. Group members will explore the "Golden Mean" of balanced character and have a greater understanding of cause and effect and ethical decision making.

The group meets on Mondays at 5:30PM.

 
Theft Prevention | Print |
The Theft Prevention program focuses on motivations for shoplifting and theft. Participants focus on personal triggers that elicit this behavior and are given the opportunity to develop decision-making skills, learn the cost to the victim, and to change thinking patterns that lead to all theft-related behavior. This program meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM. This program is offered every 16 weeks.
